APISON, TN - Allen Jacocks, 78, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2010, in a local hospital. Mr. Jacocks was retired from Bell South after 32 years of service.

He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran having served during the Korean War. He was a member of Westview Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gray and Mary Jacocks, and granddaughter, Ashley Million.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Aileen Jacocks, Apison, TN; daughter, Vicki (Connally) Million, Ringgold, GA, Teresa Jacocks, Chattanooga, TN; son, Mark (Lisa) Jacocks, Ringgold, GA; six grandchildren, Caitlin Million, Colby Jacocks, Alyse McAllister, Chris Jacocks, Ben Jacocks, Kayci Jacocks; sisters, Ethel (Phil) Harden, Chattanooga, TN, Linda (Johnny) Thomas, Ringgold, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Mason and the Rev. Sterling Jetton officiating.

Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 3-8 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN.
