VFW Post 1697 is not your stereotypical bar type post. VFW Post 1697 is an alcohol and tobacco/vape free family friendly environment. For over 30 years "Community" has been our driving quality. VFW Post 1697 is graciously provided a home in Chestnut Hall of The Commons of Collegedale through the Collegedale Tomorrow Foundation free of charge. This relationship allows us to have no worries of overhead costs and further allows us to fully support our local Veteran and Youth Programs with 100% of the funds we raise.
