James Hubert Hart
April 1, 1946 - January 26, 2025
Jim Hart, 78, of Ooltewah, TN. passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 1, 1946. Jim was raised in Phoenix, Arizona and lived here until 1966. He then enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served for nearly 8 years and was also a Vietnam Veteran.
He was a local brother with United Association Plumber & Pipefitters Local 43 and had retired from McKinney's Mechanical Contractors. Jim was a shy man but with a wonderful sense of humor. His family shared that he was not picky when it came to mealtime, but Mexican food was in the top 10 with his wife's spaghetti being his favorite. Jim loved his family and had met the love of his life when they were preteens, married her a few years later and shared 51 years together with 47 years being married. He will be missed.
Jim is preceded in death by his loving wife, Jeanette Hart; parents; in laws, Gilbert and Onnie Marie Gillespie; brother, Fred Hart; and brother-in-law, Phil Gillespie.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Garrett (Jolene) Hart, Carrie Hart, and Caleb Hart; grandchildren, Marin, Emma, Eileen, and Harper; great grandsons, Wyatt and Ahlias; sisters, Connie and Gilda; brother-in-law, Mark; special niece, Vanessa; special cousin/best friend, Mike; several other nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.

A private graveside service to be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery at a later date.
